Bozeman downs Billings in overtime, 4-3 (OT)

 

Bozeman pulled out a 4-3 (OT) overtime victory over Billings on a clutch goal by Kegan Couture.

 

Kyle Amundson was all over the ice for Bozeman, as he tallied one goal and two assists in the win. Amundson scored 13:47 into the third period to make the score 3-3. Nicholas Thompson provided the assist.

In a losing effort, Billings was sparked by Connor Melton, who finished with two goals and one assist. Melton scored the first of his two goals at 10:32 into the third period to make the score 2-2. Roy Aharonovich picked up the assist. Melton's next tally made the score 3-2 Billings with 8:11 left in the third period. Jacob Yoho provided the assist.

Bozeman additionally got points from Couture, who also grabbed one goal and one assist. Others who scored for Bozeman included Dylan Michaud and Casey Gobel, who each put in one. In addition, Bozeman received assists from Elliott Hopkins, Steven Nisbet, and Daniel Liberko, who contributed one each.

Billings' offense rang up 35 shots on Bozeman's net.

Billings also got points from Cameron Birklid, who also racked up one goal and two assists.

Stephen Frank rejected 32 shots on goal for Bozeman. Bozeman incurred six minutes in penalty time with three minors. Gage Overby made 23 saves for Billings on 27 shots. Billings incurred 12 minutes in penalty time with six minors.
