The Icedogs struggled against the Quake 10-1 in home game

The Bozeman Icedogs struggled against the Yellowstone Quake allowing Jack Moore to score a hat trick as Bozeman crushed Yellowstone 10-1 in a home game at Riley Arena in Bozeman. As well, Drew Pehrson came up big, stopping 68 of 78 shots throughout the game. The Yellowstone Quake took the lead before the halfway point in the first on a goal from Mason Stewart and never looked back.

Ian Doner chipped in with 2 points (1 goal, 1 assist) and Justin Dumont had no trouble finding the scoresheet, adding 2 points (1 goal, 1 assist).

During the first period, Moore opened the scoring for the Quake with a goal at 8:52 with helpers from teammates Stewart and Sievek. Stewart deposited what turned out to be the game winning goal at 13:52 with helpers from Steyaert and Johnson. Moore netted a goal at 17:13 with assists from Buller and Stewart. Stewart scored a goal at 19:53 with assists from Dumont and Rasmussen.

During the second period, Sievek put in a goal at 1:20 with a helper from Johnson. Moore deposited a goal at 6:37 with assists from Buller and Sievek. Ford netted a goal at 9:09 with a helper from Buller. Doner scored a goal at 19:11 with assists from Buller and Stewart.

In the third, Buller put in a goal at 4:56 with helpers from Stewart and Moore. Stokes finally put the Icedogs on the board with a goal at 7:45 with an assist from his linemate Boje. Dumont answered for Yellowstone with a goal at 10:06 with helpers from Doner and Sievek.

This loss brings the Bozeman Icedogs’ record to (0-3-0-0).
