Vaughn Hockey Goaltender of the Month: Luke Olson, Bozeman Icedogs
Grabbing two shutouts in November, Bozeman’s Luke Olson truly earned the NA3HL Vaughn Goaltender of the Month title in November. The 18-year-old from Hermantown, MN made 181 saves in November, with just seven goals against. Olson posted a .963 SV% through five games this month, earning him a 3-1 record that included two shutout performances. The 5’9”/160 lbs goaltender faced an average of 37.6 shots per game this month.
“Luke had a very good month in our six wins this month. He was responsible for three of the wins, and two of those were shutouts. Luke has been very steady in goal all month, and the success of our team is tied to his ability to play big for us when needed,” said Head Coach Mark Vichorek.
