During the second period, Kalisch opened the scoring for Bozeman with a goal at 4:18 with helpers from teammates Ferguson and Dixon. Dirscherl answered for the Junior Bruins with a goal at 9:34 with an assist from Colgrove. Teel quickly followed with a goal at 10:08 with helpers from Gobel and Adler.
In the third, Birch answered for Missoula with a goal at 1:51 with an assist from Akatnov. Colgrove put in a goal at 7:46 with helpers from his linemates, Vincent and Chamberlain. Rankin answered for Bozeman with a goal at 13:41 with assists from Kalisch and Ahiers. Rankin quickly followed with what turned out to be the game winning goal at 15:07 with helpers from Kalisch and Dulong. Nisbet quickly followed with a goal at 15:24 with assists from Dixon and Millar. Nisbet put in a goal at 18:54 with helpers from Liberko and Millar.
Bozeman’s victory was in no doubt helped out by Sakaria’s big night as he stopped 45 of the 48 shots he faced. Sakaria’s counterpart, Loucks, also had a big night, managing to stop 32 of 37, but ultimately fell short.
This win brings the Bozeman Icedogs’ record to (49-42-4-0)
